I live in Alexandria, Virginia. I decided to launch my business, Alexandria History Tours, because I love the history of Alexandria. Our guided tours have delighted visitors from all over the world. In working with groups to plan their tour, I was also helping groups plan around their tour. This included restaurants, transportation options, and other activities. In some cases, I helped craft daily and weekend itineraries. In other cases, I worked on budgeting. I saw a need to be more proactive and help groups begin the planning process before they got to the point of selecting a tour with Alexandria History Tours. As a result, I have created Destination Alexandria to help work with groups to plan their next group outing to Alexandria!
Destination Alexandria is meant to provide advice and consultation as you are thinking about Alexandria and when you decide on Alexandria. Every group is different and has unique needs. In working with groups that have ranged from reunions with 10 people to associations with 80 people, I believe there is a need to help groups of all sizes properly craft and plan their trip to Alexandria.
